- Ability to effectively monitor boiler operations
- Perform regular boiler checks and maintenance of boiler
- Report boiler/steam related issues to Chief Boiler Operator
- Maintain cleanliness & professionalism
- Ability to work without constant supervision
- Comply with NS Steam regulations
- Trouble shoot issues when Chief Boiler Operator is absent

Requirements:
- Possess a 4th or 3rd Class Power Engineer Ticket
- Valid driver's license

CHIEF BOILER OPERATOR

Responsibilities
- Supervise and Manage daily Boiler Operations
- Assist in the Upgrades and Installation of New Boiler & Equipment
- Perform regular maintenance and upkeep of boiler and steam lines

Requirements

- Experience with 400 + HP Boilers & Auxiliary equipment
- Experience with # 2 Oil Fuel Burners
- Valid driver’s license

FINANCIAL MANAGER

Kenney & Ross, Limited has an immediate opening for an energetic, success driven individual to be part of a dynamic business.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate, who will report directly to the Vice-President, will be responsible for all aspects of the financial function. Specific duties will include:
- Monthly and annual financial reporting
- Management of the finance function and administration team including general accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, purchasing, payroll, revenue management, coaching, development and performance evaluation
- Strategic business planning and budgeting
- Management of certain IT functions throughout the organization
- Maintenance of administration and financial policies and procedures including internal control
- Liaison with external advisors, bank, insurance and other key stakeholders
- Work with the President and senior management to mitigate operational risk in areas such as inventory management and control, capital assets, and cost analysis
- Oversee the statutory filings and payments of the company
- Management and administration of group benefit plan and insurance programs
- Other duties and responsibilites as required

Requirements:
- Professional accounting designation is an asset with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in a financial management role
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax, and cash flow management
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse environment
- A familiarity with SAP and ACCPAC accounting software is desirable

TEMPORARY ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Kenney & Ross Limited is seeking applicants for a temporary administrative assistant. The successful candidate should be able to work independently, self-motivated, and be a team player.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative support for record keeping, data entry, generating memos and reports
- Telephone and office receptionist duties
- Shipping and receiving packages via courier and mail

Experience and skill set:
- Minimum of grade 12 and/or a community college business/accounting program
- Experience using MS office, word, excel, etc.
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Typing, numeracy, communication, and problem-solving skills

Starting wage of $18.50/hour for 40 hours per week.
